Fallout New Vegas Uncut

So as is widely known New Vegas Bounties has compatibility issues with Freeside Open which New Vegas Uncut incorporates. Unfortunately as I was unaware the patch won't work if you've already entered freeside before installing the patch. As I'm already a level 50 character and completed the vanilla game and all it's DLCs starting a new game isn't an option for me.

Jasper appears where he is supposed to and I can talk to him. However I'm stuck at the 'Find out Ben's fate' stage of the quest as the marker just goes to the dumpsters where you can see the mutilated body but nothing happens. Movetoqt doesn't work. I have NVEdit and I can see you are supposed to have a message pop up as well as an ambush, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to type in the console command to set the quest stage further, or if there is any other way to get around this bug. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
